I loved this session. My goal for family portraits is to capture natural interaction and emotion whether they are looking at me or each other. I try to create a space with beautiful light, simple flattering clothing and details, a fun relaxed playful mood and then capture it from a few different angles. Sometimes it takes a little bit of patience but I just love when it all comes together.
The weathermen have had a very challenging month predicting the forecast but I have had a lot of lucky days and many where we juggled our schedules to make a new time work. This day happened to be one of the few great blue sky days. We were so happy to be at the market bright and early as the vendors set up and before the crowds stepped in the way of our picture perfect moments!
We had so much fun running around the studio and I am so thankful my lights are on wheels! I was so lucky to get such big happy hugs from this little guy. Of course, I had to walk over with them and take a couple more while they enjoyed their "thank you for the big smiles" ice cream cones.
